Free printable Lunch Box Notes

I stumbled upon this free printable lunch box notes post by Cindy from skiptomylou.org and loved the simplicity and originality of her ideas. To good not to share. She has cut out her lunch box notes, slipped on a ribbon and transformed a boring piece of fruit into something fun and memorable. Always good to remind our children and husbands just how much we love them. Creep into their hearts with a unique lunch note.

Lunchbox Love Notes: You are a STAR

It's all about having fun.... deciphering your lunchbox love note. I decided to include a hidden message into the girls's lunchboxes today. Pineapple, kiwi fruit and apple rings(dipped in lemon juice) were cut into stars. I also included their all time favourite (and mom's lifesaver when the grocery cupboard is bare)a bag of popcorn with some delicious red strawberries. Their clue... " You are...", can't wait to find out their response. I'm working on some veggie dishes to include in the lunchboxes, this is really challenging as Melissa once again instructed me not to include any form of salad in hers whatsoever. TIME FOR SOME DISGUISES..............

Lunch Box Idea: Valentines Day

Lunch Box Idea under pressure.Today I woke up and it suddenly dawned on me that Valentine's Day had once again lurked up on me and I hadn't purchased or put any thought into making it a really special day for Gav and the girls. My creative juices flowed as much as possible at 5am in the morning. I whipped out my heart shaped cookie cutter and found anything in my low stocked fridge that was still edible and set to work. Cucumber and pineapple shaped hearts. Heart shaped peanut butter sammies. Red pepper hearts with some pea pods and carrot balls to fill the gaps. I also found some red paper and quickly cut out a heart shaped message for the girls to find on opening their boxes. Voila!
